Evil Clones' unique red eye genetics

Not sure if i should file a bug report so i'm asking here first:

So, was just wondering if the evil clones' (via GTW Scientist career cloning machine) unique red eyes are purposely non-genetic (Or should they be genetic?) Evil clones' children will have a random eye colour, even if it's 2 evil clones with the unique eyes having kids. The CAS does create kids with the unique red eyes if i don't choose a 2nd parent when creating a genetic child for an evil clone, which alongside with the random eye colour on offspring with 2 parents, would suggest it's unlinked.

Thoughts? Answer? 🤓

Picture attached shows the pretty eyes on an evil clone of Travis Scott.

@magicslippers, Great questions! :eahigh_file:  I'm not sure since in my game my Evil Clone from the Scientist career hasn't had any children yet.  Perhaps the eye color in this case isn't linked genetically , but is maybe linked by the state of actually being an Evil Clone?!? 🤔 That's what it sounds like, but I could be wrong! 😉  But now I want to test this myself! 😃

  • I did test it in game: Non-occult/mermaid/vamp evil clone x evil clone = random eye colour (all of them had the red unique eyes).

Which would suggest it's unlinked. What throws me off is how CAS generated genetic children with a random parent can have the unique red eyes though!

I hope it's a bug, the eyes look really cool 🙂

@magicslippers, Oh I understood that you tested it... I just like testing game elements like this too, especially genetics.🤓 You just gave me something to experiment with! 😎

But I'm not really that tech savvy, so I can't look " under the hood" of the game to see what's going on.

In my game my best Scientist had 2 clones... one normal and one Evil, and of course the Evil one had the red eyes.

    Original Scientist (Now an Elder)

    Regular Clone:

    Evil Clone:

I added facial hair to the middle Clone to make telling them apart easier for me.  I changed the middle one's hairstyle, but not color.  If I remember correctly, I didn't give the evil clone facial hair, but I could be wrong.  He was the first clone.  If I added a beard, then it must have given me the black color for it, because I only wanted to change style, not any "genetic" info.  These pics were taken today, but I've played this save game for several years! The game gave the Evil Clone the name "Blaze" , which I thought was very fitting! :eahigh_file:  The household is large with the original Sim having a wife, 3 daughters and one son!  Two of the daughters were the result of Alien abductions! 🤨  This is one crazy family! 😃

@magicslippers, the Developers don't respond on these forums, but other EA employees do from time to time! 🙂 You will most likely see Community Managers here!  But they read the posts more than they reply to them, so that is were volunteers like myself come in.  😉 But occasionally they do respond as well. 😉

Also, I assume the Developers are busy developing, and wouldn't have time to answer posts here because it would take away from them developing! 🤨🤔
