As soon as I went into my save, I played like normal, and then some data was lost after I got out of CAS and data went back to when I first started playing today. Fail to save error code keeps popping up when I save from playing inside household/lot. I have mods and CC but I already checked and they are all updated. Please assist in this issue.

joelsimsroyals Please remove your Mods folder and test again. You can use "save as" rather than "save" so you don't overwrite progress with your mods and cc missing.
puzzlezaddict I removed everything from my mods folder and tried to "save as" but it still didn't work and shows the same error code.
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
I have the same issue too, everything played like normal, have deleted my mods folder but that wasn't the problem.. I didnt have the adventure expansion pack, and reading these.. I was wondering what do you mean by "delete the ones you have" like.. the ea files? or.. something else?

the lastException files in your documents folder.
Go to that folder and check if you currently have any of these files (or LastUIException or LastCrash). If you do, delete them (they are just log files).
Also delete localthumbcache while you're at it.
Then go back into the game and try to save so you get the error again.
Go back to the documents folder and see if a new file is created. Open that file with any text editor and select everything. Click on Copy.
Come back to this forum, create a new reply and paste what you have copied before.
