The Sims Team
Heya @gothangeljade
First and foremost, I want to thank you for sharing this video here as I believe this is something that all Simmers should know about, yet very few do. Unfortunately this is a threat that many industries are dealing with now that AI generated artwork is so easily available. This is why you're seeing such a crackdown on account security across the tech world lately, as bad actors are always looking for new and more devious ways to get at your personal information, be it your EA password or your bank accounts.
Our resident cyber security aficionado @EA_Kuba has an ongoing series on protecting yourself online that you can find here, including an interview with Elise Murphy, Sr. Director of Game Security here at EA. I would highly recommend keeping an eye for new issues as they come out!
Always, always, always remember to double and triple check what you're downloading from the internet is genuinely what it appears to be when it comes to The Sims, use our official CurseForge page for Mods and CC, and only download games via Origin or the EA app.
