Family Inventory Dissapears

I am play rotational games in the Sims 4.  I have all the expansions except for Growing Together, Eco Lifestyle, and Life and Death.  When I started my games things were working fine.  Over time when I tried to store things in my families inventories it sounded like they were going in and they just disappeared and are not on the lot.  This is happening in all 4 of my games that I'm currently playing.  I tried creating a household from scratch and moving them to another world, but the same thing is going on there.  Could this be a result of the last game patch.  Any help you can give me would be appreciated.  I don't want to start with a clean slate.  I've played multiple families in the past and this has never happened.

    The inventories seem to start working again when I go the buy mode and click the family inventory button.  All the stuff that had disappeared was in there.  It seems when I look at the inventory there that the Live Mode button starts showing the inventory again. Even if it didn't show up in Live Mode, I can still access the stuff in Buy Mode.  I hope this will resolve the issue once and for all.  I appreciate you answering me.  It's a big thing to me because sometimes I like to take stuff to other locations, like the easel to the park or something like that.

    When the things disapepar, do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

    If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.


    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

    I bought a chest for my one of my families and after that inventory seems to be working okay again--I'll have to do some more testing and I'll let you know what happens.  When I started new games they had no inventory,  I had tested it by trying to move something there, but they were disappearing too.  I hope that it resolves soon.

    Possible that something is broken in the family inventory.

    Can yo move everything out before you move or is something stuck ?

    I don't have any mods or custom content.  All my stuff is from EA.  I am playing on Windows 10.  I discovered yesterday I have one family who's inventory isn't failing.  I tried to create another brand new game, but the inventory was broken there as well.  It's odd that I have one game where it is still have it working right.  Thank you for answering so soon.

    Is this with or without mods/cc ? What platform are you playing on ?
