Family living on park lot?

I downloaded a residential lot, placed it over a park, moved in my sim, and when I went to build buy mode it had changed back to a park that was incomplete, but my sim still lives there. Luckily I can interact with doors. But currently the house is filled with a bunch of people that luckily clean it. Just by chance it happens to be my homeless man's house and it's trashed, I kind of like the people in and out of the house it's more lively 🤣
