No, the Sims 4 does not run on a Chromebook. Sims 4 needs either macOS or Windows to run. There's also a console version available for XBox 1 and PS4.

I have the same problem and it's really frustrating☹️( I was wondering will sims 4 ever be available for my hp chrome book?
My first guess would be no, just because Chromebooks aren't made to game on. So they aren't as powerful to run a game like The Sims 4 on.
Also there aren't many people working on Chromebooks. But who knows, maybe they will add it, but I wouldn't count on it.
Who knows maybe the new The Sims app game will make it's way to the Chromebooks...
