No, the Sims 4 does not run on a Chromebook. Sims 4 needs either macOS or Windows to run. There's also a console version available for XBox 1 and PS4.

I am pretty sure it is only for Mac and Pc currently. I have found a free installation that is compatible with Mac, but none for chrome. A good solution would be ChromeOS which you can download on your Mac, and sync to a chromebook. You then can access those files/ downloads to play the game.
How do you do that?

You can't make it compatible with a Chromebook. The Chrome OS isn't supported by the game. You need either Windows or Mac to run the game.
