Festivals

do we know where they're at with the broken city festivals? my sims lives in an apartment and the spice festival has just been stuck there even after the event time is over and well into the next few sims days, it makes my game totally unplayable as holidays will not pop up and even if I try to play for a few days, every time I save and exit when I go back into play it has kicked the game back in time so say It was a Sunday at 3:00 pm when I started and I saved and left then came back, it would be Sunday again maybe a bit later but still Sunday. I haven't been able to play with that save file for at least a month now because of this bug.
