For Rent pack not allowing more than one unit

Recently I made an apartment complex with 6 units and furnished it all. When I tried to assign units, I am only allowed one unit. Anytime I try and create a unit, the button greys out and remains on 'shared.' All the units have doors that lead them into a shared space, at least one bed, toilet, and kitchen area. I've tried selling the lot and switching between residental and rental residental and nothing seems to work. This happens with mods disabled and enabled, and I can't figure out how to have working apartment buildings. Any advice on how to fix this issue and be able to use my apartments?

    Hi nviens​ Try the following

    - Close the game
    - Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    Repair the game
    - Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
    - Close the game
    - Copy the save game with the error from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to the new Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
    - Start your save game
    - Check if you still have the error and if you do, try the double load again.
    - Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
