Framed Degree Diploma From Incorrect Univeristy

Played a randomly generated sim through Britechester for the psychology degree. The sim graduated with honors and eventually ended up hitting the ceiling as a professor, so, I reenrolled this sim into the distinguished biology track at Foxbury. This sim graduated with honors and she also maxed out her rep (or w/e it is) with the brainiacs while on campus. Everything was fine.

It gets weird when the sim gets back to her house, grabs her picture kit, and proceeds to super stick her framed diploma to her office wall. Well, the framed diploma is from Britechester! Thiis sim graduated from Foxbury. Britechester doesn't even offer a distinguished biology degree. So, initially, I thought, not such a huge issue because I can still play my game, however, this was just the beginning of the weird. Basically, and in short, the game doesn't recognize that this sim ever attended Foxbury so her framed diploma must be a forgery and she can't use any of the stuff associated with the brainiac organization, even though she's entitled to it all... she earned it at Foxbury.

Obviously, since the game didn't recognize her distinguished biology degree (w/honors), from FOXBURY, everything else associated with Foxbury was glitched up and inaccessible to this sim too which makes sense, but now, I'm thinking this is a bigger issue than I had initially.

Oh sure, I could always cheat stuff as a workaround, but I find, for myself, once I start cheating, the game loses it's appeal and I just got this expansion so I'm not ready to get over it just yet.

I've cleaned out files and repaired my game, multiple times, without success. It's still wonky. 

Any help would be appreciated, but I really think it's a bug. AND no, I don't use mods.
