All issues in the bug forum must be tested on a vanilla game (no mods or cc)
To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.
- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.
Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.
Also few questions
- What's the error code you receive and when do you get one ?
- Is this on all save games, even if you start a new one for testing purposes ?
- Since you choose CAS and build mode, where does it freeze there ?
- Since you also choose crashing: At which point does your game crash to the desktop ?
I don't use mods. There is no error message. Whenever I try to travel or enter manage worlds or try to switch households. It also happens when I try to save and quit. And sometimes I the game won't even load, it just stays loading forever. I have to force restart my laptop.
You put that you use custom content and that you get an error code. Hence the questions and ask to test without cc.
