Gabled roof clipping into room, how to fix this?!

This is becoming increasingly infuriating. I JUST want to make this look nice. I'm redesigning a default house and I refuse to use any other roof setup than the one I've chosen, but because of that, ...

@sinamuna Are you playing on PC? If you are you can hold shift on the end you don't want to stick out, you can move it on without moving the end that is on display at the front of house. That way, it won't clip inside. I am not sure what the controls are for console though.
