Gabled roof clipping into room, how to fix this?!

This is becoming increasingly infuriating. I JUST want to make this look nice. I'm redesigning a default house and I refuse to use any other roof setup than the one I've chosen, but because of that, ...

@JonaO703 YOU! 3 years later, and YOU saved my bacon🥲 was losing my mind trying to do the roof from clipping into the room. isn't my original design, so I had no idea the original creator didn't use the tool. honestly didn't even know about it or that it mattered.
