Gallery not connecting

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.92.145.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Cottage Living, Paranormal Stuff Pack , Dream House Decorator, My Wedding Stories,Werewolves Game Pack, High School Years
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connect the Gallery so you we do not have ConnectionStatus.txt in The Sims 4 document folder
What happens when the bug occurs? When i launch the game and look at mySims 4 document folder i see ConnectionStatus.txt in there every time and my WI-FI is not the problem because its good and this hasn't happen before just recently since the new patchWhen i Disable my mods/cc it still happening 
What do you expect to see? Do not have ConnectionStatus.txt in The Sims 4 document folder unless WI-FI issues or decided to play offline

Please describe the patch or change you made. After the recent patch on October 11, 2022

When i launch the game and look at mySims 4 document folder i see ConnectionStatus.txt in there every time and my WI-FI is not the problem because its good and this hasn't happen before just recently since the new patch. When i Disable my mods/cc it still happening

    From the patch notes: "We have made some changes to the way the game connects to the Gallery. Instead of automatically connecting when the game starts, you’ll connect on demand. Once you are finished in the Gallery, a connection will remain for a period of time allowing you to return without having to reconnect."

    Are you actually unable to open the gallery if you try, or are you just wondering why the connection status file is there?

    @fashionbug12 If this is just about the file, it's possibly a change because of the latest patch as @PipMenace

    The file contains information about you're connection (good or bad) and my best guess is that EA uses it to monitor the status. It's probably part of the telemetry sent to them.

    If you have telemetry turned off, it's still getting generated but it's for your own information.

    Look at it like any other log file.

    Please tag me if you have actual connection issues so I can merge this with the thread on that.

    Otherwise it's feedback about the file but I'd be interested to know why you think it's harmful to have it.

    I can connect to the gallery when i click connect to the gallery but yes I am wondering why the ConnectionStatus.txt there all of a sudden after this new patch when its not my Wi-Fi causing it

    @fashionbug123 It looks like it's updated/created every time you start the game no matter how you play (on/offline) or if you use Origin or EA app.

    Pretty sure devs have their reasons why they did this and it was probably done because of the newest changes.
