Gallery Stuck In Infinite Connecting Screen

It just spins and spins and never connects. 

I moved my whole documents folder so that would include all of the sims 4 data that was stored in the "Electronic Arts" folder and the "The Sims 4" folder inside of it. 

HoosierSims​  To make sure this isn't a coincidence, please move your Documents folder back to C.  You can move only the Sims 4 folder, or the Electronic Arts folder, to your D drive and create a symbolic link, as described here:

But please test with everything on C first.  If your C drive doesn't have enough space for your data, you can leave the data on D (move it out of Documents first so it doesn't get transferred back) and test with none of your usual content, and then create the symlink if everything is fine.

Please also let me know whether the secondary drive is internal or external.  And I'd like to know the model as well, in case speed is an issue here.

This issue resolved itself now. i dont know what the issue was but it seems to have fixed itself! 

For the past 2 days, my sims 4 has simply been unable to connect to the gallery, as the title says. It brings up the prompt to connect, so i click connect, and then it just brings this image up and it never goes away. I left my pc running all night last night with this, and I gave up when I saw my monitor this morning displaying the same thing.
I use mostly Curseforge for custom content and mods, and I'd initially thought that the CC was the issue, so I'd disabled custom content in settings and restarted the game early on in my attempts, but to no avail. It just won't connect to the gallery. Any solutions that I try to search up are over 4 years old and probably outdated/have different solutions considering they all still mention Origin and not the EA App.

My gallery says i’m offline and when I attempt to connect it just spins. My wifi is fine, i’ve repaired the app, and tried all of the other suggested things but nothing works. I’ve read through other discussions about this happening and did not see any solutions? I play on Mac.

Recently for the past month or so I have been unable to connect to the gallery, I've had access to it for the past 5 years but around August it started to just endlessly attempt to connect. I did not have a problem with this before but it has kept me from being able to play the new event. 

I had access for the previous event that happened in July, and I have not had a problem receiving updates for the game. The EA app says I'm online, I've even purchased content just fine throughout the month but it still will not connect while in game. Weirdly I've only had this issue with the sims 4, and the sims 3 is running perfectly fine online. 

I've tried restarting my PC, restarting the EA app, clearing caches, deleting old saves, removing all mods, switching WIFI networks, moving to a hotspot, I even repaired the game with all the DLC. I checked my antivirus and firewall settings, both the EA app and sims 4 are allowed through it.  

 I really don't want to have to delete the game and redownload it but I'm not sure what else to even attempt at this point. Does anyone know anything else that might work? I love the game and the new event rewards look really cute, I'd like to be able to get access to the online section of the game so that I can unlock the rewards. 

Hello I'm having the same exact issue. I've cleared the cache, validated the files through steam 4x, added the game folder to my security software's whitelist, and even did 2 clean installs. I'm also connected on a stable connection to my ethernet via hardline cable. What is happening???

I cant connect to the gallery. I tried logging on and off on the ea app and restarting it. I dont use mods and I only mostly just download from the gallery. I tried deleting cache and stuff but that doesnt work either. Its just an infinite connecting to the gallery. Im thinking its maybe my vpn but I've never had this problem before. What a mystery.
