Game thinks Sim is pregnant/Can't use certain objects

When I try to get my sims (male and female, multiple households) to get in to the hot tub it says "can't get in while pregnant" fyi these sims AREN'T pregnant! Then again I also have the bug where ...

All my sims all apparently "pregnant" so I cannot  mount a horse, get in a hot tub, etc.

are you guys using mods/cc ?

I merged your post with another thread. This part is likely to be a mod issue.

    Yes! I am using mods (all are updated and none are broken), yet the issue remained when my mods were off.
