Game will not load past "Sims 4" screen

Hi! My game keeps crashing right when I start the game and get to the screen that says "Sims 4". And before the game even opens, it starts alternating flashing black and white screens for a few seconds. I've already attempted to uninstall and reinstall and delete my cache. How do I fix this?
