not quite, it's not that alien townies look the same, it's that there's no data for a mod to call on for the alien form. going into non fulleditmode CAS using shift left click shows the default alien mesh while doing so in fulleditmode CAS gives the sim a unique alien design.
The report isn't about them looking the same but rather that they don't have a non-disguise showing
But it's old and I'm not sure so new report is most useful.
