Get to work daily tasks box not appearing

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.109.185.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? spa day, seasons, outdoor retreat, laundry day, island living, high school years, growing together, get to work, get famous, discover university, dine out, and city living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know
What happens when the bug occurs? The active career daily goals/task/to-do box doesn't appear
What do you expect to see? a reward meter with daily tasks to complete at work
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

my game updates automatically for the most part. i downloaded 3 or 4 new packs and have some cc in my game. 

the issue is when my sim goes to work to daily tasks in the upper left corner of the screen doesn't show up now (it used to). i repaired the game, i disabled mods, i cleared the cache folder. not sure what to do now 

i also noticed after i go back to regular gameplay mode after using cas, build/buy mode, traveling, and or exiting the game (going back to desktop) it will be a white screen or all the buttons are greyed out and the entire bottom of the screen disappears (i.e. sims's picture, time/weather, needs, etc).

    @NieceyJanae Did you finish the reaper event for this week yet ?

    Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing your mods/cc ? Did you just disable them in the options or move the mods folder to the desktop ?

    I don't really want to do the reaper rewards. 

    I just disabled them in settings and then deleted the cache file

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. Be aware that your claimed event rewards will also be gone for the time being but you will get them back with your other things.
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    I had same problem.  If you're using tmex tool or better build buy or both mods there was an update to mods 3 days ago to fix grim reaper event.  Go to twisted mexi's site and update.  the updates aren't on curse yet or curse at all??  delete the mods before putting the fixed ones in.  

    But not sure if its held up.  October 1st update i believe just busted it again.
