Gibbi Point Beach

I am unable to set any lot in Gibbi Point as a beach, even if it has waterfront (which isn't a requirement, only a suggestion) Is there a reason for this or is this something overlooked by devs? There's no reason you can't have a beach on a lake. Is it possible this will ever be fixed? (I have no mods or anything that would affect this but I am now looking for mods to fix it of course)
