Grim Reaper doesn't show up when Sim dies in Sims 4.

One of my Sims died of old age but Grim didn't show up to take her. In fact, though she's obviously dead, her vitals make it appear she's very much still alive and even late for work while the other ...

    @tecamack Try that to see if it helps the Sim to die properly.

@tecamack Is this a particular Sim or does it happen all the time ?

Did you buy your games on Steam or EA app (or EPIC) ?

It's the first time anyone of my Sims has passed in a long while. This one has received warnings that its time's short in the world and dies each time I play. Once dead, it's "in process of dying" and the game won't save, so I exit and start over and it's like "Groundhog Day" with the thing: a last few hours, then a dragging death that goes nowhere with no Grim Reaper.
