daily login rewards have been announced via social media, ive updated my game via ea app and repaired it, but don't see the event pop-up on my main menu as shown online. anyone else having this issue?

I don't understand. I updated my game and started my game but I don't have any tab or link or whatever that let me claim the new daily rewards. I hope I will not lose those rewards ! Because that will really make me mad. I feel like this game never work for me. am I curse or something !
Same here. I disabled all mods and repaired my game, but I still didn't get the pop-up. I even logged out and back in again. I use my google account to log into EA, could that be the problem?
I also enabled directX 11, but I don't think that should be the problem.
A workaround for PC players: mod creator simsiboy unlocked the rewards (just google simsiboy patreon)
I have updated my game but the login event doesn't show up. My game is connected to the internet and when I open the game, it shows me an ad for the new bistro kit, a house on the galery, an ad for journey to batuu and information on the new hairstyles by dark & lovely. I play the game regularly and don't want to miss out on the new free things only because of a problem with the game!
Same here. In the UK. Updated the game yesterday (28th). Logged in multiple times yesterday and today but haven't had a popup about this at all. Don't use mods etc.
This is pathetic. EA release a statement about how they're "sorry" and are fixing the multitude of bugs in the game only to immediately introduce yet another bug with a time-limited reward system that is inaccessible despite following the "conditions".
Funny isn't it how this always seems to happen, but the shopping cart no one asked for was working perfectly from day one.
EDIT: So apparently the "announcement" was a leak and the log in rewards haven't been officially released yet. Fair enough, the mistake is mine and I actually really disagree with gating content in such a way, but I will say it's still not a good look to have your time-exclusive login event be accidentally fully accessible so easily before it even drops when you're talking about fixing the game.

You made a big show of "apologising" to us for the state of the game and made assurances that things were going to get fixed and lo and behold the first thing you launch is just as broken as the rest of your game. Ignoring the fact that releasing time-sensitive content is a disgrace in itself, you made it so it doesn't even release the content properly.
Anyone know of a workaround for this? I'm in the UK (but I don't think it's a timezone issue. As far as I know the rewards program is definitely live now), I don't use mods or CC, I'm on PC and have repaired the game. I'm not getting the popup at all and no amount of trying to force it to happen is working.
The event has not started yet. Will do in a few days time.
@Ghoul_Silvrr I'm glad it's not just me, but ugh I am SO done.
The Sims has never been a technical masterpiece, it's also never really worked as it should and this wasn't a problem exclusive to TS4. I know exactly who EA are as a company and where their priorities lie but I've also always enjoyed the game, warts and all.
They couldn't even get this right. SMH.
