@HorseObsessed Hello, and I'm glad you decided to step out of the shadows and join the chat! 🙌 I know there is a lot of hope out there for horses, so you're not alone in that. Though if I were to recommend only one pack I would have to choose 'Seasons', as a pet (and backyard chickens) lover I personally absolutely love the content, interactions, functions, and 'cuteness' added by 'Cats & Dogs' and even more so by 'Cottage Living'. If you don't have both of these I would highly recommend them! Plus, being from England you would probably especially like Cottage Living since it's an 'English countryside'-type setting/world.
I do love my horses in other games, but there is a purpose there that at this point I don't see in this game to the same extent since it's not open world, and no 'battling' or similar actions are useful for a horse in this game. But I didn't play with a horse on Sims 3 either, so I have nothing to compare it with. Anyway, I'm sure it would be well loved if it was added in Sims 4!
@SheriGR Thank you! There was a huge fanbase for the horse side of sims 3, so it would definitely be a great addition to Sims 4 (or so I believe). I have cats & dogs, but I don't find it merely as enjoyable as the pet DLC from sims 3. Sure, there's way more possibilities with creativity and whatnot and I can't see my game without the expansion anymore, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have it's limit. I love cats, own two myself but would definitely prefer horses over any other specific animal, haha!
I have a few of the DLC packs, but fallen behind on them now. All I own are get together, get to work, city living, discover university, cats and dogs and island living.
I have wanted Cottage Living, but I just don't have the funds at the moment to purchase. Though I do hope to be paid tonight at 12am, and since the game is on sale (I believe until tomorrow or the 5th?) then I may be able to quickly squeeze in and purchase a new expansion pack tonight after 12am.
