High school years lockers being transparent with black shelves!

I did read that someone else was having a problem very similar and the solution was to go into manage properties on the EA app and type in -dx11, which I did and it fixed it, but then the problem of buttons doubling on my screen came back from when I first got the game so I removed that and its back to transparent lockers with black shelves. Is there any possible way to fix this? I would really appreciate any help!!
