Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack - Review!
Soooo Stuff Packs are back! Its Been a While hasn't it? Almost THREE YEARS! But TODAYS the DAY! HOME CHEF HUSTLE IS OUT! Since This is such a HUGE pack! I will Split into 5 Sections: Create A Sim, Build Buy, Gameplay, Preformance (bugs) and critiques.
Kicking things off with CAS. The Hairs just HIT the spot for me. The braids! They even thought to include the braided hair for fem frame without the head band! The Ombree Swatches are great. I will say the CAS is very specialised to the theme, which is fine. This Pack isnt for the CAS players imo. All Meshes are Very Nice and Great Swatches Just most of them are very kitchen themed. Another Perk is Toddlers/Infants/Children have a nice range of options. 5/10 I wouldn't buy for the CAS but whats there is good.
Build Buy! Just a Georgious Array Of Assets. Counters are the main focus for sure! The Swatches are great too. Very Consistent and they match each other. There are a few minor concerns of mine However I will list them later. The waffle Maker Is SO SO SO cute! The stand mixer is very realistic and we love it. The counter top Pizza Oven is nice however a Stone and Large One would be nice. I wish we had bar stools. The fridge is just NEXT level good. It fits properly without any gaps AND it doesn't clip into cabinets which is SO SO SO SO nice. The stove is really nice and matches the set very nicely!. The dishwasher being slightly smaller then a counter is so nice and super realistic in European kitchens. And the stand comes in pride colours which we love to see! 10/10 Would buy for this.
Gameplay. Now this is CHEFS KISS! CHILDREN can run stalls and are so cute when they do it! They made the sims animate while on the stall which is super realistic with the children being more dramatic! Children can use the back yard stuff lemonade thing like they gave them ice cream powers! The waffles are so good! and now the pancakes have some competion! Bob bought some of my waffles. We always knew their marriage was tough but we never expected them to step this low 😞 #lore The Food Stall ISNT a clone of city living/eco/JA's Market Stalls as the sims will EAT/DRINK the food infront of you and you can see positive/negative reactions. If you own Back Yard, Cool Kitchen And Seasons Their are special moodlets like "selling icecream or drinks in warm weather" and they are more likely to buy it for inflated prices but the oppistate is true in winter where they are less likely to pay as much. Theres Cross Pack With CoL with "lactose free batter" and more! You can sell multiple types of food and drinks form other packs such as nectar form HR. Almost Anything you can think off, Cupcake Machine's Stuck Pasteries, Cupcakes, Kava (IL) pretty much anything. Honestly theres SO SO Much. You can even use the recipe book with several interactions. 20/20

Performance: The Pack Isnt Glitchy at all a few minor stuff such as nectar not selling for correct prices, or when children use icecream machine placed on the stand it routes them to a counter and the animation is broken (bug report incoming) 9.5/10
Critques:
The corner cabinet is the corner shelf which is really bad imo. It causes the following issues
- The Corner Dosent Match the Rest of the cabinet Set
- Due to it being a corner the lighting breaks and dosent match the shelf
- No slots as its a cabinet
All of which would of been fixed if it was a seperate object.
The island Corner Waterfall edge isnt correct and dosent met the edge as it should. (bug report incoming) The Island Living One did this and was fixed in a later patch, hope its done for this one too.
Conclusion 11/10 Would Recommend, Great Worth For Money, Best SP by far, highlight of 2023 for me. I look forward to see what the team has install for the next EP - Expect a review for that too! 😉 Thanks for reading my awfully long ran- erhm i mean review. No but truely thank you!
