Households changing when autonomy and neighborhood stories is off

Hey there — I have been having this issue lately where sims in my favorited households have been autonomously moving out of their homes, marrying other sims, separating from the rest of their household when I distinctly have both autonomy and neighborhood stories turned off.

The weirdest part is this seems to happen even when I’m not playing.

For example, when I last opened my game, one of my sims was in the household I placed her. But now she’s no where to be found, presumably moved in with an unplayed household. I’m so frustrated. Has anyone else experienced this issue??

    Hi raecarp91​ 

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
    • Is it possible that some data isn't saving properly ?
    • Did you have a neighborhood stories for Sims moving somewhere ? The game does NOT merge households. It only moves entire households out of houses or moves them in so it sounds like something else might be going on in your game.
