I have saved some households from the gallery to my library, will these characters appear as computerised players or do I have to more them into a home first.
I did this as there are not enough children Sims for my children to meet.
@LouLouBum1990 You will have to move them from your library onto a lot before the game will see them. If you don't want to keep them on a lot, you can move them out to "Not in World" later on and they will be just like all the other NPCs. If you have aging on for NPCs and unplayed households, then they will age up and eventually die.

Sonic I just want them to appear I put them into not in world and my Sims can meet them through out the game
@LouLouBum1990 There are a couple of other things you can try to help your Sims meet other children. While they are at school you can select the "Make Friends" option to have them socialize with their classmates (just make sure to keep an eye on their grades while doing this!), and you can have your Sims travel to parks and swimming pools as there are usually many other children playing at those types of lots.
