How can I move my food?
Hey! I play Sims4 on my Mac, and I don't understand how to move my food. It's my toddler sims' birthday, and I'd like to age them up. However, I can't seem to put candles on the cake. The game tells me that I need to put the cake in the center of a table or counter, yet I cannot seem to figure how. I've tried putting it in my inventory, and also putting in in & taking it out of the fridge. I have a coffee table, as well as a dining table. I also own a good amount of counters, yet my sim always places the cake on the corner or edge of the coffee table. The middle has no decorations on it, the whole table is completely clear. Please help me!

Sorry about the pink, it's my favorite color.
If you're playing on a community lot, you may need to go into Build Mode to move the food object.
Otherwise as @jpkarlsen said, just drag/drop with the mouse.
Pro-Tip: You can also use drag/drop on your own home lot to get rid of dishes/garbage by dragging it into the trash or a sink.
