how can you get stairs to attach to a porch?

I was tweaking my house, and I accidentally deleted the stairs, and exited build mode without noticing, so I cant just undo it. I was searching through the whole build menu, but I can't find stairs small enough to use, they all go to the second floor. Does anyone know how to get smaller stairs that you can attach to a porch?
