How do I change the mood and pose in a selfie on PS4?

I was excited to check out the new base game update, but for some reason none of my controls are allowing me to select the mood or pose of the selfie. I tried the Dpad but that isn't working unfortun...

If you're using your phone to take photos, click on the square button to switch to pose mode and use the d-pad to change poses. Let me know if this worked for you.

Sadly, it’s not working for me. I keep on pressing it and trying to use the deep pad, but all it does is change the filters of the photo.
