How do I edit a sims story that I've downloaded from the gallery

How do I edit a sim's story that I have downloaded form the gallery. Because they don't come with a story I wanted to be able to personalise it but it wont give me the story option. help!

@Cosmolivia&nbsp;It will already have its features set so you can't run a story on the Sim. You need to start with a new Sim. Click the + and select Story Mode. A new Sim will be created.
