I had my Sim have children (twins) with Father Winter for the nice trait they get, but I then had her marry my main Sim to raise the family.However, under relationships the children are still considered "roommates" and I am unable to get parenting Aspirations done because of it.Is there any way to fix this on PS4?

A stepfather has no family relation with their stepchildren whether in real life or the Sims 4. You can click them and select Adopt as Caregiver.

Thank you for your reply, and while step parents may not have any relation they're certainly legally responsible, so I just want the relationships (and Aspirations) tab to recognise it.
I don't have this option to adopt for the babies, I'm guessing I need to age them up to toddler first?

I adopted them as officially care dependant, but that apparently doesn't count as becoming a parent :/
It seems very strange that I could adopt some random child off the internet and it works count, but not adopting the children of my Sim's wife who he has been there for from the beginning.
