How do we update Sims 4 before June 10th?

I had the same issue literally an hour ago! I unistalled the game out of impulse BUT when it installed it was still stuck. I then just went to the EA app and did an "App Recovery", it's under the hamburger menu on the left top corner, then clicked "clear cache". That did the trick!

@SweetHeart_sydd i have the same problem i tried clearing the cache and it still didnt work i repaired the app and reinstalled it but nothing! i still cant see the update button ):
