how do you cancel charity drives/pet adoption events?

@k1o1q2mw0be0 you can go into your game options and turn off Events. I'm not in my game right now but I believe it's in Pack Settings if memory serves. I just installed For Rent and it was the first thing I did.

If you want to play Events you can always enable it again later.

Yes, that would be nice, if it worked, which it does not.  Pet Adoption Drive continue to happen even when "rental events" is deselected.  It's an ongoing problem.

I've been having the same problem and my patience is wearing thin now because after I complete these events I want to cancel it and move onto the next thing in my game periodtt & i am very tempted to see if a modder can fix this problem because apparently it isn't getting fixed anytime soon.
