how do you fast que tasks?
im getting sick of having to click the sim then click the bubble i want, and then have to click sim and bubble i want again. or opening mass loads of seed packs, one by one. clicking the pack the...
I agree with @PugLove888 also that it's very annoying, as it takes 'live' time. If memory serves the most 'efficient' (not) way I found to open a lot of seed packs is to buy them all then in pause and drag them all out onto the grown and then in live as click and have them open on each one. Unfortunately that takes a while for a lot of packs but the up side is that they open them as fast as you can queue it in live mode. Unfortunately you cannot queue them in pause as they will only open the first one when you make it live after filling the queue with 'open seed pack' commands. Not positive this is what you're referring to, but if it is I can confirm that was my experience also.
@Humankillerz, @BlackjackWidow, & @SheriGR, yeah, there seems to be a lot of little inefficient things related to the inventory that I'd whish they would improve upon! The seed packs are one of them, but they weren't really a problem until Seasons came out. I know @SheriGR , myself, and a few others have discussed the problem with stacks the same items in the personal inventory and how tedious it is to deal with those. 😞 I wish our inventories had a tab system that would categorize items like produce, books, metals/crystals, toys, fish, etc. Also, I hate how the fertilizer is accessed in the game. Let's say you have a certain fish you want to use as fertilizer, but you only have one of them -- you have to scroll through a long list of items just to find it! 😠
As for the bubbles that you click on to scroll through available actions, what frustrates me is that not all actions are available each time, and even when they are, they often occur in different spots! ☹️ This might be OK to do once, but then you line up a bunch of actions in your queue and then they drop out, and you have to line them up all over again!!! 😬 I get aggravated, and I'm one of those people who constantly pause the game in order to line things up … so I can only imagine how annoying this would be for someone who plays at regular speed without pausing to line up commands! 😢

I agree with all the annoyances you listed, but by far my biggest peeve is dealing with the inventory. I wish there was a way to organize it myself.
I thought I had a solution to one of my problems. I spent a bit of time taking all the frogs out of my inventory, then adding them back in a particular order so I could easily find the ones I needed to breed. I had a lot of multiples, so it took a while, but I was so happy to have them "in order" at the bottom of the box.
Unpaused the game, clicked on the inventory, and nope! They were all randomly strewn about again lol 😭
Oh well, at least I learned something🙂
thanks guys for the answer, im honestly shocked there is no quick way to do it. that blows my mind that devs would overlook that ability. like if you play the game for even a few hours you instantly realize the ability to queue up the same interaction bubble would be a life saver, having to open and find/select the same bubble just to spam the action is so annoying
makes you wonder if devs ever played their own game lol
@BlackjackWidow ...Now that's one I haven't done yet. What do you breed frogs for? Is there a career or something that encourages/uses it as a skill or anything like that - or just for fun? Just curious.

As @PugLove888 mentioned, I'm mainly doing it to complete the frog collection. "Breed 5 frogs" is also a step in the Curator Aspiration. After reading the breeding chart on Carl's Guide to Frog Breeding, I've found it a lot faster to just breed a frog every 4 hours, rather than running all over the place looking for them. (a note on the guide; needs to be updated because there's no option to find frogs in ponds anymore, which made me sad).
I like frogs: you can sell the rare ones to give you a decent amount Simoleans when you're "young and poor"; they give a +3 decorating moodlet basically for free; they're great bait for fishing, especially in the hidden areas; and the ones worth more than $100 make exceptional fertilizer. They interface really well with the gardening and fishing aspirations, as well as the curator one, all of which I've been trying out since I started playing a couple of weeks ago.
Good points all around... reminding me of the things that I've sort-of learned to 'ignore' and put up with...
Speaking of fertilizer, @PugLove888 ...I was playing last night and found there were still a couple of 'small dog poops' in my sims' inventory, so I thought, hey, let's try to use it for fertilizer since it says it's good for it when you hover over it. Is this a joke? I could not see any manner in which he was allowed to use it for fertilizer. His gardening skill is 10, so that's not a barrier. Is that just a sarcastic 'hover label', or am I missing something? I couldn't care less if it sounds 'ewww' 😉 . Anyway, I'm assuming it is a joke, but thought I'd check. I'd like to throw it on the money tree. Seems rather fitting. :eahigh_file:
@Humankillerz, I wish we could see exactly how you envisioned the streamlining of the action bubble choices! 😎 I think this wasn't as much of a problem when the game first came out, but as we get more packs with more interactions, it becomes cumbersome! 😞 For me, I don't get why the choices sometimes move around 🤔… like the Hug interaction is usually buried in one of the last tiers of actions, but sometimes it shows up in the first or second tier! 🤨
@BlackjackWidow, sorry your Frog Filing System didn't work! I've tried this with fish and produce (not to mention other items) with no luck. That is why I want a system with tabs for each category! 😃
@SheriGR, to my knowledge the only real use for breeding frogs is to further your collection faster. 🤓 This is good for those Sims with a Collector aspiration, or for those players who just like to complete collections! I have breed frogs also to use for my Vampires, but by the time I did that , my Vampire ended up never making plasma from frogs! 😃 I think this feature would be best for the Vampires who feel guilty after drinking from a Sim. I have also used frogs as bait for fishing, and I think you might be able to use them as fertilizer too.🤔 But you don't have to actually breed them for those options; it just might expedite the process! 😉
I don't know about the dog poops being fertilizer because usually my Sims with dogs are so busy interacting with them that they don't have time to garden much. I'm sure it is the same in my game, but I can test it out anyway just to make sure. My guess is that the developers wanted to promote the real-life necessity of cleaning up your dog's poop (especially in public places), and was just trying to make a creative and funny text description explaining why the poop was able to be picked up! 😃:eahigh_file: That said, I think it was in TS2 that we had a garbage composter for our gardens... I wish we had that back because it made nice fertilizer and was a neat way to deal with garbage piles! 😇
you are so right, i cant stand that the bubbles move around, makes it so hard to spam a choice if you want to....
@SheriGR Does dog poop turn into a trash plant if it's left on the ground? Just curious, I don't have anything but the base game so wouldn't have a way to test. It would be pretty realistic if it does - well, as realistic as a trash plant lol.
@BlackjackWidow I will leave this for others to maybe comment on... do you know @PugLove888 ? I have always had a maid, and sometimes a butler, and between that and my sims I am not sure if the poops have laid there long enough to test this thoroughly. On the other hand, I have fenced in areas with doggie doors and use the same two potty-trained dogs in the homes where I have dogs, and they definitely poop on their own where I have discovered festering stinky poo at a door/area where it was not seen/cleaned up, and it was just sitting there stinking. Though I cannot confirm how long poo has been left sitting in my sims' yards, I can say that I have never seen a trash plant that had randomly appeared in their yards, so my guess would be no. If you ignore it, though, one of the sims will inevitably walk through the poo and be disgusted that it's stuck to their shoe. At least there's that. Lol! 😃:eahigh_file: 😉
