how do you remove a floor pattern which is on top terrain paint (sims 4)

how do you remove a floor pattern which is on top terrain paint i have tried building walls, and sledgehammer
gameplay issue

    Select the sledge hammer and use that to delete it you will then be down to the terrain paint.

    If you can not use undo. You will have to apply terrain paint again.

      thank u for yr help- i rlly appreciate it!

      the terrain paint just goes underneath the floor pattern (if that makes sense)
