Hi. So my sim married a girl and had a kid and she passed away so now he married her sister and it won’t let the sister take care of the baby. I think it’s because she is his aunt and not his stepmother. How do I change the role to stepmother?
@oreosimmer01 the new partner needs to Adopt the child to take on a parental role. So to do that she needs to engage in conversation with the child and in the conversation options you will see the option "Adopt as Care Dependant".
We don't get Step parent relationships, we have asked for them though. But regardless, as the adult Sim is already an Aunt you won't be able to change that.
If you're playing on PC I don't know if there are mods for it though as I'm on console.
