How To Chat

I have been pl;ayiing Sims 4 for a little over 2 weeks and have seemed rude because I hven't found how to chat.  Can someone help me with telling me how to chat on Sims 4 please?  Thank you

Click the sim you want to talk to and choose any of the options to chat.
