How to Send Multiple Sims to College?

TLDR: I want to send two of my sims to college but can only send one at a time, moved them off campus after accidentally sending them to two different dorms (Why are the towers named the same thing), but now I can't move them back into the dorms.

Long Version: I had two families going within the same household, and in anticipation for university coming out prepped them each to send one kid, male and female. They are cousins, in case you were wondering. However, upon aging the girl up and enrolling in Foxbury Institute, it had me select a dorm and boom sent her right away. So I went back to the house to try and send the boy to Foxbury, I enrolled him and accidentally selected the wrong dorm tower (they are named the same thing, how was I supposed to know for sure which one my girl was in?) Once I realized he wasn't in her tower, there was no "back" or "exit" button from the enrollment menu. So I was thinking not a big deal I'll go to manage worlds and manage the household. Except you can't. When you try to move people into dorms its blocked and says available through enrollment only or Foxbury students only, even though both of my sims are students and enrolled. So I moved them into the open house in the Gibbs Hill neighborhood. I'm wondering if I missed something and can move both in or if there is a way to move them into the dorms even though the semester has already started? At least the two are together but I was really looking forward to having them live on campus? Maybe the end of the semester when I select new classes it will give me the option to move them?

  • @OMGWOWLOLZ, what language do you play your game in?🤔  The names of the towers might depend on what language your game is in.  In English one tower is called Tidal Tower and the other one is called Briny Tower. The translators might have made a mistake in how they translated each tower from English ! 🤨

    Please update us! 😇
(Briny Tower is the one where Cameron Fletcher lives in already! )

As for transferring students, I haven't tried that yet, so I don't know if this is a bug or if you just needed to go about it differently. 🤔  I think as more people play the game we will find out how to best go about enrolling students, transferring households, etc. 😉

You can either play them in the house you moved them into, or you can wait for more info to see if there is a way to get them into the same dorm from where they are now (might have to wait for the next term).  If you want to wait to play them to see if any more information about this is discovered, then you can always create a new Save Game and play another Sim at University for a while.  💡🙂

  • I'm having the same problem, I moved Cameron Fletcher out of the dorm to edit it a bit, and when I tried to move him back afterwards, the game told me that only enrolled students could live there. But Cameron IS an enrolled foxbury student?! I want him to still live there and add some of my Sims to study there with him...
Now don't tell me I have to play with Cameron alone until he's done with his current term to move him back in the dorm e.e

  • @OMGWOWLOLZ I don't think there's a way to fix it during the current semester. I had to send the kicked-out sims home for the semester (they were still enrolled, and could still go to class ... they were unrelated, but I sent them both to live with one of the students' families - so one student living with parents, the other living with them as a houseguest. At the end of the semester, I sent them both back to the same dorm and it worked out fine.

I really, really hate that we can't have sims in different dorms at the same time. What a mess.

So I just want to make sure I understand this completely because I haven't tried sending multiple Sims to dorms yet. The only family I have that I wanted to go to Uni so far I moved into the penthouse next to Cameron Fletcher so I could enroll them all, choose to commute from home, and still technically live on campus. But if I have a household of 6 Sims that live in a house in a different world and I want to enroll them all into the same dorm I will have to do it one by one, and go from the dorm back to the house every for every single one, and just hope that the dorm doesn't fill up while I'm enrolling everyone??? There has to be an easier way...or is there and I'm missing it?
