I bought Sims 4 on Steam on Macbook. Can I link my game to Origin?

I recently purchased the Sims 4 on Steam, unknowing that I had to buy it on Origin for it work. I bought the deluxe pack of the game, mainly because it is cheaper on steam than it is on origin. I don't really feel like paying 20$ extra, is there any way I can link my steam account to origin? Thanks a bunch.

@cookiethewook While you could link your accounts, you still would need to play through Steam rather than only through Origin. Since Steam doesn't support the Mac version of Sims 4, that's not a viable approach.

In your position, I'd refund the Steam version and wait for an Origin sale. The Digital Deluxe version of Sims 4 can be as low as $6.25 or so (U.S. dollars) during the frequent sales.

idk if it's different for PC and Mac but i bought deluxe edition on steam while i had base game on origin too and i downloaded it from steam and when i launched the game it connected my origin and steam accounts by itself so you try launching first maybe it will work on Mac too
