help?? blue box??

okay so here's what I did:

I wasn't getting the option for woohoo so I removed my mods folder, deleted cache and repaired the game, then launched it vanilla. everything worked great.

then I tried to move my mods folder back and it suddenly told me one of my mods wasn't working, so I deleted that one (just a standalone decoration cc). I also don't have mccc, or **bleep** or anything similar.

so I launched my game and everything was great loading it, and then this blue box wouldn't go away, and I also can't load my Sims house it just jumps back to the world maps.

please help!!

    Jessie42​  You've already demonstrated what you need to do to get your game to run without showing the blue box.  The problem is clear:  You have something in your mods folder causing it.  So, either play without the mods folder or go through it, testing everything until you have found and removed (or updated if an update is available) whatever you have that causes the problem.  Yes, it will take time and a bit of effort on your part.  You should start with mods first, then CC since CC issues generally don't cause the screen glitch you have.
