Aha! I was right. I think my save file was broken. I put the housegold into a new save file and it seems to be working great. Thanks guys.
My sims can only cook garden salads. The options are there but I can't click on them. When I try to turn on lights, they only have the option to turn them off even if they are already off. My adult sims can't take showers, radios, computer, tvs, magic tea pots, basically anything that can be broken. It only has the option to upgrade it. When my sim clicks on a bathtub it only says that I can give a bath to toddlers.
I do use cc but I haven't added any new mods before the problem started. I really don't know what to do. I've tried repairing my game and exiting and going back in multiple times.
