I can't compliment children or toddlers for the birthday party check
I throw a goaled event, a birthday party, and one of the checks is "compliment the birthday sim." This option is not available when the birthday sim is a toddler or child.

@LRR32793 Im currently having the exact same issue rn which is kinda annoying cuz now I'm gonna have only a silver medal and my sim infant is gonna be mad they didn't have a great party and to "try better next time"
- @Izzz_2222 I don’t normally give my infants/toddlers birthday parties at all - as long as you make them a cake and have them blow out the candles they won’t be sad about their birthday being forgotten. If you really wanted a party you could possibly just have one of the parents host a dinner party and have the infant/toddler blow out the candles while guests are there.
Sim kids can have a birthday party, though since getting Growing Together I often let them throw a sleepover for their birthday anyway. I really only use the birthday party type party occasionally, and generally only for adults.
