@solofargekla When you mention the pixels and a few other bits... I'm wondering if you have Mods/CC and if this may be affecting some things? If so, have you tried testing without the Mods/cc to see if the issues remain? Please click the spoiler tag for directions on doing this. You can test without saving to see if the issue(s) are caused by any or the Mods/CC:
Also, I'm not sure if I'm following your issue correctly with the mood lamp. The lamp has to be purchased in the color you want, and the only ability to change colors that I see is the same option I see on other lights and candles in the home: Set Color and Intensity > This Light > Color:

@SheriGR , I might be wrong, but I think @solofargekla meant the new lamp. I think the one you showed an example of is from Strangerville.
Here is the new lamp with the new chair and table that came in the special delivery drop this week:
The lamp you showed does operate the same way with you having to delete it to buy the one in a different color. However, the interface of the new lamp leads one to believe this acts as most other lamps in the game where you can choose the color after you place the lamp using the color-picking tool. But even though it is displayed like most lamps in B&B Mode, it acts like the one you showed (and that lamp shows different entries for each color separately in B&B Mode. I hope I am making sense! 😅
What happens when you try to use the color picking tool. Also, it isn't enough to just change the light in Live Mode, as the stand for each of the lamps is not changed in this way. You have to go back into B&B, delete the current lamp, and buy the new color seperatly!:You can see in the area where you pick your item, there is only one of these lamps listed, and when you click on it there is the standard swatch selections as seen in most lamps. :
Other lamps that are displayed with one lamp listing and to change colors of the lamp (even after it is bought) you click the appropriate swatch. Both of these can be changed after you buy the lamp, but the new lamp can not be changed.
Here is the B&B entry for the lamp you showed. As you can see, there are multiple listings for this lamp, each in a different color (unlike most lamps and unlike the new lamp in question). It does indeed have to be bought again if you want to change the color of the lamp, outside of changing the lighting in Live Mode. It does not matter as much since changing the light in Live Mode will work because the base is all the same color for each B&B entry of this type of lamp:
It isn't a game breaking mistake, but it is a bit annoying, not to mention confusing! 🤪 I hope I cleared up the issue a bit! 😅

@PugLove888Hi! I was curious about this also since I just put that lamp in my game yesterday. I bought the black one and when I used the design tool. I saw that I did have options. So then I just bought all of them and tested each one.
For the white / neutral light lamps with the black and two gray base options, the base color can be changed to any of those colors after purchasing. When I click on any of these using the design tool, I get the same three color options.
The other color lamps did not have any options with the design tool, as you mentioned.

@JonaO703 Ahhh... good catchI This sounds exactly like what @solofargekla was running into in regards to the new lamp (sorry, I misunderstood that reference since assumed it was the other lamp I mentioned). It definitely looks like an oversight if not all of the lamps give the same options for changing the base color after purchase. Thank you for adding that information!
