@EmpressShadow7 This laptop is overkill for Sims 3 and 4 by a large margin, but yes, it should do everything you want. If you're willing to spend the money though, you may want to consider a model with a 3060 (more than fast enough) or a 3070 (massive overkill), especially one with a higher-resolution screen. Some laptops in this generation have 2560x1440 screen resolutions, which would make both games look even better.
The Omen line is fine if a bit expensive, and there are other comparable options that you might like better. If you'd like me to look for some, please let me know your budget and country, as well as any other details that matter to you, for example screen size, battery, or weight.

@puzzlezaddict Hey thank you so much for responding. Wow i didn't think that the laptop i chose is that good it would be considered an overkill :o i knew it is decent but i thought it would just meet the recommended specs
in your opinion, do you think i should go for this laptop? Is it worth it? It is pretty expensive and it would be so annoying to buy it and regret doing it. Especially since some people experienced overheating problems. (I have a cooling pad with 4 fans built in it but i'm still worried)
And one more question, are all omen laptops prefect to do what i had mentioned in the original post or just the one i talked about specifically?
And thank you so much for taking the time to help me.

@EmpressShadow7 I think you could spend less money and still get a laptop that does exactly what you want. Omens do tend to be a bit more expensive than laptops with comparable specs, and they often run hotter too, although usually not dangerously so. (The system will throttle to keep temperatures in the safe range.) But if you're going to get the same performance with a 3060 and save some money while you're at it, that may be an easy decision.
Omens come in a variety of configurations, just like most other gaming laptops. What matters is not the brand but the graphics card and to a lesser extent the other components. So you could get an Omen with a 1650 and get nowhere near the performance that this one would have; the point is not the brand but the components inside.

@puzzlezaddict you're right of course. I only went directly for hp omen because that's the laptop i found available where i live (along with MSI which is way more expensive than omen)
If you don't mind, could you please tell me what are these other laptops that are similar but cheaper than Omen? The overheating problem still worries me so i'd like to see what other options i have.
Thank you again for taking the time to help me :D

I don't have that model of laptop but I have about 70GB of CC for Sims4 and about 13GB for Sims3. I have both games on this laptop and I don't use it for much else. With the games etc installed I have used about 375GB (possibly more but I'm in the middle of a reinstall due to a weird error I have with the last update).
I know Sims5 is a long way off but I wanted something to invest in to be able to handle that too. I have:
Alienware M17 R4
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10980HK CPU @ 2.40GHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
32GB RAM
2TB SSD.
I can tell you, it runs like a dream, all on the highest settings (3 & 4) and Sims4 loads in 60 seconds with 70GB CC. What you're looking at would easily handle it and have very minimal loading. If you have the finances for it and really want it. Go for it.
In regards to overheating, this is a problem for all laptops, but I bought a laptop cooler stand that you place your laptop on (was £20 on Amazon) and its perfect.

@foxybabyhg3 i looked up your laptop and it sounds great but had a bad experience with Dell in the past so this gives me war flashbacks lol
Ultra settings with 70gb of cc is the dream honestly.
I'm still on the fence about going for an Omen until getting a powerful cooling pad because the one i got recently is a joke
