Imaginary Friend Disappeared

Could you please provide the following information

Hi! I got my imaginary friend back. She spawned out of nowhere, but I got her back. Thank you!

I have left my lot with and without my imagineMe Doll. Now it no longer works. I can only tell it secerts and play. I cant summon it any longer and the relationship is gone. If the child goes to school this doesn't happen. Just when they leave the lot. I have reset my child sim and the doll with no lucky. I have the wild child doll and I have changed his personality. I have had this happen twice with this doll. I sold it in bulid buy and bought a new one. I have hit send back to imaginary land on this doll and was able to have him come back.

Question for EA---Will child sims send them away forever without the player doing this?

I have another child that has the red doll i rename him and gave him a different personality was well. Im not having a problem with him. Not sure what is going on. I have not hit send back to imaginary land on this doll.

Save and loaded the same game. Wild child doll is reset now. Have to start over again with him but I guess this a way to fix it.

Another thing that has worked is having my other child reset the doll.

This one seems to be a different issue. 
I got it today with the same IF that previously vanished (see the comment marked as solution). 
Today, I loaded the same save after a few days of not opening the game and the doll was still in the child inventory but when I placed it in the ground I saw that there was an interaction saying "turn into imaginary friend". I checked the relationship and it was completely gone. The doll had the default name too. 
I just had to start over with the IF (rename it, bring it to "life", increase relationship again, etc)

Same thing has just happened to me, the doll is back to "not owned" and gives me the option to make into imaginary friend again, even though the doll imaginary friend was created last week in real life and it gave me a pop up saying "that looks like fun" however when I placed it into the world to summon it, the game was registering it as not owned and the relationship was gone - not sure if it's because I just created a new imaginary friend for the sibling of my sim who just aged up to a child but my first child and his imaginary friend have to start their relationship again as if they didn't ready have a relationship.  I'm not sure what has caused this to reset the doll to not owned. 

Yes I had the same thing happen. My sim had to go to school so he sent him back to Imaginary land and then I can't find him anywhere.

We need a fix for this.

Update: Found out that you have send you child sim to another lot, and then the imaginary friend reappears in the childs inventory(weird)

My child sims imaginary friend doll keeps disappearing, when I go into build/buy mode and hover the mouse over to where the doll was located it reappears temporarily. 

I had this issue before, deleted the doll and purchased a new one. Now experiencing the same issue again. Side note, I do have the doll sitting on top of a coffee table, I'm not sure if that is causing it somehow. Also, both dolls had a full relationship bar with child when this issue started happening. 

The only mods I have installed are MC Command Center, and UI Cheats Extension. Both are updated. 

Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me? 

Should also say, if I move the doll to a new location, it instantly becomes invisible again.
