- @rosemow whoops im back! After having success with what you suggested, the game is yet again acting up. Last night, I played my game for a while, and everything was fine. This morning, I downloaded some custom content, put it in the mods folder, and started my game. My game then only launched to the loading screen. I removed the recently downloaded cc, and it still didn't work. I looked up solutions to my issue, and it recommended uninstalling origin, so I did. It's back on my computer, but all my files are gone, again! I don't have an option to load a save file like last time. Everything is gone.

Hello
If you are still missing the load button, this link article may help you
http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/save-games-disappearing/- @rosemow hm.. that article didn't really help. It got the load button back, but my old households are still gone. in my saves folder, there's nothing.

Are there no save files in your sims 4 saves folder ? If there isn't any there, and if you use One Drive, see if a backup copy of the saves folder is in Onedrive. Try doing what is the first suggestion in the link article.- @rosemow I don't use onedrive, unfortunately. I guess my files are gone forever. I've tried to download file recovery software but they're all super expensive. I guess I'll just have to start over :(

I am sorry that your save files are missing :( Try checking the recycling bin and see if they are there, Try doing a search on your computer for your " saves " folder in case a duplicate folder has been generated somewhere else on the computer.,- I am sorry to resurrect this post but i am finding the same problem. I have saved a friends sim all tray files were copied into the tray folder. CC into my cc folder that i have. I have opened up my game to see and in gallery i cannot find the new sims.
I have selected the Custom content to be view... Any ideas what i am doing wrong?
I am relatively new to this way of saving sims. I generally just get them in the gallery. Any advise would be appreciated "bebasim;c-16951056" wrote:

Hello @bebasim
There can’t be any sub folders in the tray folder. Put the tray files directly into the tray folder if you haven’t already done that.- @rosemow - yes i don't have any subfolders in my tray folder at all, only some in my mods folder i did continue to red up a little bit more about this problem, next day rebooted the gallery and they are there :) Not sure if it just took time to show up ?
Thank you for your reply tho "bebasim;c-16956020" wrote:
