Where to find Townie gravestones?

Hi all,

In the past, when Townie sims would die, I was able to go and collect their graves at the lots they lived in and then add said tombstones to a makeshift graveyard... obviously now that Life and Death is here I was hoping to continue to do that, but for every townie friend of my main household who has died, I haven't been able to find their tombstone/urn whatever - is there somewhere else to look besides the lot they lived in? I really am looking everywhere (I think!) - next to beds, next to entrances, in random corners, and they're not appearing.

Anybody have any suggestions for where to look next? Thanks and much appreciated!
