impossible to save household in the library

I just installed the latest version of The Sims 4  on my laptop and launched the game with little problems. 

I checked all my CC's and made sure they were also all updated, but when I created a new household, it wouldn't save in my library at all- moreover, my latest households and lots/rooms with CC in it also dissapeard from my library. 

Now I did check the little box on the left menu of the gallery that says "include custom content", I did repair my game, double checked my mods, I did create another household to be certain, absolutely nothing shows up. 

Trying to find an alternative, I launched a save that I hadn't touched since before the update and uploaded to my gallery the household and lots/rooms in order to download them in my new save- the game crashed totally (it closed as soon as I hit the download button and sent me right back to the EA app like it does when the game goes off.) So I'm coming up short here and in need of help, thank you in advance!
