Indoor electronics not working because of rain

Hi, so I just built this house and I came across an issue where the electronics in the kitchen/living room don’t work because “electronics don’t work in the rain”. I made sure I had ceilings and roofs that covered the space, I’m good there. The electronics in other rooms work fine as well. I even disabled rain and refreshed the game. Still, I cannot use the kitchen appliances or the living room tv. Please help.
